Disk Storage
Disk Storage is the allotted amount of disk space on the server you are allowed
to use. Rates
for upgraded space run from $.05 per MB thru $.25 per MB depending on the amount
of space that is purchased.
Bandwidth / Data Transfer
Bandwidth is the amount of data traffic (Gigabytes per month)a website may transfer.
Over bandwidth charges are $4.50 per GB and will only be incurred as monthly
bandwidth allocation is exceeded.
Redundant Connections
Connectivity is just as important as servers used. Acrohost.net maintains multi
redundant connections with UUNet / Sprint / Qwest Communications.
Daily Backup
Full website back-ups are performed weekly. Backups of new/changed data are
nightly.
E-Mail Accounts
Each package comes with a certain amount of base e-mail accounts. Additional
accounts are available by upgrading to a different Acrohost package.
POP3 Accounts
POP3 accounts come with their own distinct login and password and allow for
the sending and retrieving of e-mail from the same account.
SMTP
SMTP allows e-mail to be sent via your domain. (POP3 is for receiving and SMTP
is for sending.)
Web Based E-Mail
Check and send e-mail from anywhere by using a web based e-mail system. All
you need is a computer with an internet connection and a browser. This service
is available for setup upon request.
E-mail Forwarding
E-mail forwarders are accounts which simply forward e-mail to a pre-designated
e-mail address.
E-mail Auto Responders
E-mail auto responders automatically reply to all incoming messages with a pre-defined
message. Each mail account can have its own Auto Responder, if necessary.
Aliases
E-mail aliasing allows each e-mail account to have up to three alternate names.
Each alias will forward automatically to the respective parent account.
FTP Updates
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is the method of moving files from system to system
using TCP/IP.
PERL/CGI
CGI (Common Gateway Interface) scripts are programs used by a browser to run
interactive site features; they are stored in a separate directory on a Web
server. CGI scripts enable simple e-mail forms to complex shopping cart programs.
ASP
Active Server Pages is Microsoft's very popular alternative to CGI scripting
languages, such as Perl or PHP for the Windows NT platform. Typically,

XML is a standard created by the World Wide Web. It is a language with many

This is a proposed standard that allows for transfer of data securely between
wireless devices, such as PDAs, cell phones, pagers or other combinations of

domain registration and domain transfer are beyond our control.
Referral Program
You will receive a Letter of Appreciation along with reimbursement check equivalent
to one month for the referral of a new customer after the new client has been
active for a 3-month period. Your reimbursement will be based on the monthly
value of the domain being referred as a new client. If customer cancels service
within the initial 3-month period the referral will not qualify and no payment
will be made. Referrals must be a new customers. Existing customers may not

The prices listed for our packages is a monthly price. Acrohost.net requires
a 3-month sign-up in advance for hosting services plus a one-time setup fee.
After the first 3 month period, you will be automatically billed monthly. Upgrades
will remain at monthly billing after your first 3 months with Acrohost.net.
